Today I am feeling very happy, I weighed myself this morning and have lost a further 3 pounds! So since starting this blog I have lost 6 pounds in total and have seen my fitness levels improve considerably.
It was just the boost I needed as this week I have felt a bit flat and have found it hard to motivate myself into working out. While I still have a long journey to go, today I finally feel that I have gotten somewhere on it and it feels more than worth it. I am hoping by Christmas to be another 5-6 pounds lighter taking me to my first goal of around 9 1/2 stone.
So with this renewed sense of fitness mojo I took myself off for a lunch time jog and did a 3.28 run in 27mins 46 secs. Not the fastest of runs but it was certainly enjoyable as I took in some of the London sites around the embankment and southbank and felt a spring in my step in the autumn sunshine. Fit camp tomorrow and then a rest day on Sunday. Time to keep going and reach some more goals. Bring it on!
